Craft Club is coming to Cambridge

There's still one more weekend of Cambridge Open Studios to go (24/25th July 11-6) so please come and see me at Woodside Rural Care, Cambs or visit the artists marquee to buy sale work and old favourites at Burwash Manor Barns. The Stoke studio will be on downtime over the summer and open again in September for new product development and tea-set production!

On August 2nd I will be having an open day at a new workshop in Cambridge 11-4, so please come along to say hello and see the new gallery/ teaching space. There will be free taster sessions on the wheel, demonstrations and a free make and take clay workshop for children. The address is 29 Kidmans Yard, Primrose St, Cambridge CB4 3DY

New courses will start too:
Family workshops, £4 per person, under 4s free and welcome. Tuesday 3rd August 10-12.30 is pottery for parents and children.
Tuesday 3rd August 1.30-3.30 Family crochet workshop, learn how to make a granny square to start a blanket!
Silver bangle making day Saturday 7th August 10-4 £75 including silver to make a beautiful original bangle
Hand-building in porcelain Sunday 8th August 10-4 £60 per person, all materials and firings included
Sunday 5th September- popcorn stitch crochet purse- come and make a lovely crochet purse and line it with Amy Butler fabric, 10-4 £60 all materials included to make two purses

And...craft club is starting! Launching on Monday 2nd August and running all year 4-6pm, join me in my workshop for tea, cakes and craft. We'll work on projects together like ceramics, crochet, knitting, christmas decorations! The cost is £5 a week with occasional material costs- or bring your own. Accompanied, well behaved children welcome! If there is enough demand I will start a later group one evening a week for adults, including wine and knitting!

gosh, that all sounds brilliant. If I lived anywhere near Cambridge I would be signing up straight away!
